The top ten most-viewed music videos from Youtube/Vevo on March 8, 2011 played simultaneously. Video frames combined using datamoshing.

Tools used:

• youtube-dl to batch download the Youtube mp4/flv’s
• ffmpeg to extract audio and sox to combine the soundtracks
• Quartz Composer and Tom Butterworth’s datamosh plugin to datamosh the video frames
• QuartzCrystal to render from Quartz Composer
• avidemux to recombine the audio and video
